It's been a long drawn out process

We closed on our lease in the end of 2017, if you can believe it. We were told that the landlord would take a few months to make some disability access improvements and turn the property over to us by March 2018. It's now March 2019, so we've been a weeee bit delayed. But we're so excited to see things coming together.

Of course, nothing is easy and seamless, and things don't work out as planned. If they had, we'd have a completed entryway. Lights would have arrived on time to be installed before drywall. Then a round of paint on the walls before the flooring goes in. And then finally all the cabinetry, tables and counters. Unfortunately, things had to happen in the wrong order, and we have our nephew, Jeremy, here from LA finishing up the cabinetry before any of the other elements. But this was the time he's available between other building projects so we had to move ahead and now work around the cabinetry.

Here is a peek at how the shop looked at the beginning.
